Bali

This year we have gone to Bali. At first I was a bit sceptical about paying airfares and hotels so that we can relax in Bali when we could just relax at home. But then I went to Bali. The air is always warm so it is always the right time to go to the pool, the people are so nice and always say thank you and hello also we keep going out to dinner each night and eating delicious food.

We touched down in Bali after a 6 hour flight and then waited an hour for our luggage to come out of the machine that brings it to you. By then it was past midnight in Melbourne and we went of to find the driver the hotel had sent us.

The crowd of drivers was huge. There were people squished up against the glass and the people behind them had selfie sticker with names attached to them and were holding them above the heads of the people in front of them.

We found the one who was there for us and were quickly worked off to the hotel. By the time we got to bed it was midnight in Bali! (2:00am in Melbourne!). The bed were very comfortable and the aircon was powerful and we got to sleep quickly.

On the second day we went shopping and Victoria and Philippa got bracelets made of lovely beads and I got a foot massage by some fish who ate the dead skin of my feet. It tickled but in a very nice way and afterwards my feet felt like baby feet.

We spent the rest of the day (excluding dinner) in the hotel and had a relax and afternoon tea that was provided by the hotel. They put out some fried coconut and tea. I thought that the coconut was a bit too sweet though.

At dinner we went to an Indonesian resturant and Dad got a big stuck down his back just after he said that the bug was harmless. Also there was a big gekoish thing behind Mum that made an odd electronic sound.

More later. :)
